Omega Internet Solutions has recently (Jan 22) upgraded our internet connection to provide more capacity for Russell subscribers.  For most subscribers, this change did not affect their internet connection settings.  However, we did change the IP numbers for our name server and this change will affect any computer with saved DNS settings.  If you are a subscriber to Omega Internet Solutions, the link below should indicate that your DNS is set up correctly.  If the graphic does not appear, you will need to change your DNS settings to be server assigned.  If you have trouble with this, please call our office.  (483-5588)

If you see the graphic below, then your DNS settings are fine. If you get a broken link below, then your DNS setting are incorrect.

 
Also our upgrade will affect those customers who use newsgroups.  We are no long accessing the internet through Rural Telephone, so the server news.ruraltel.net is no longer available.  Omega Internet Solutions has established a new new server at news.russellks.net If you use this service, please check out our new server.
